Alastair, 8 months old
My daughter, Alastair’s mother, has returned to work two days a week. Called back from extended maternity leave, she agreed to do this only because her husband’s wonderful Aunt Jeannette volunteered to keep the little guy on those two days.
This embroidered one piece suit, which is one of my favorite styles for baby boys, reflects Alastair and Aunt Jeannette’s mutual affection for one another.
The one piece suit is a simple ready-to-wear garment. The pie design is from Adorable Ideas Littlest Chef. Using BuzzEdit2, the single pie was extracted from a stack of three, in graduating size. The text was done with PE-Design 7.
For many years, Jeannette and her two sisters have met Friday mornings for breakfast. That is one of her days with Alastair, so he joins them at the early morning get together. This past Friday morning, he was decked out in his Sweetie Pie outfit and charmed all three women, one of whom is his adoring paternal grandmother. It wasn’t a tough job. He could have been wearing a dirty brown onesie and they would have thought he was The Most Fabulous Baby!! And so would I.
